On September 22, 2013; the Lilavati Hospital and Research Center was awarded for its best medication system by the prestigious trust of Hirani Mata Sthanak Trust. The award was in honor of various charitable endeavors and philanthropic work done by Shri Kirtilal Mehta, a founder of Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust. The award was received by Prabodh Mehta where while receiving he added that it is a great honor for the board of trustee of Lilavati Hospital; where with the contribution of the same, today the hospital of Lilavati Research Center has grown to 314 beds and 12 Operation Theaters with one of the largest Intensive Care Units including more than 300 consultants and around 1800 manpower.

As history; the hospital was opened in 1997, a department of highly specialized in curing various major health problems cardiology, dental, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, oncology, neuropsychology, infectious diseases, rheumatology, general surgery, bariatric surgery, ophthalmology, vascular surgery, onco surgery, urology and many more.

Next to this, there is a best department of critical care comprised of OPD, blood bank, physiotherapy and diagnostics especially for the patients with brain problem.
